ST. CLOUD – The Village Family Service Center is moving its St. Cloud office to a larger location to better serve its clients. Beginning Monday, Aug. 28, The Village will be at 110 6th Ave. S., Suite 100, in St. Cloud.
The Village offers outpatient counseling and in-home family therapy in St. Cloud, as well as a Men’s Anger and Domestic Violence Group, Circle of Security program for parents and caregivers, and other classes and groups. The nonprofit served 850 clients in over 6,900 appointments from its St. Cloud location in the first half of 2017. It was previously located in the Stearns Financial Center.
“We’re excited to be downtown and a part of the revitalization that is happening in the downtown area,” said Amber Morrighan, who directs The Village’s programs in the St. Cloud area. “Our new location means we are more visible, more accessible, and big enough to serve the needs of the clients who are coming to us. The larger space gives us the ability to host trainings and other community meetings.”
With the new location, clients are encouraged to arrive early to allow time to park. Parking is available in the Centre Square (Herberger’s) ramp at 601 1st St. S., and limited metered street parking is available in front of the building.
St. Cloud office hours remain 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. The phone number is still (320) 253-5930.
The Village has offices in 15 communities across North Dakota and Minnesota. Its programs and services include counseling, in-home family therapy, addiction treatment, mentoring, financial counseling, and an employee assistance program.
The Village’s mission is to improve the quality of life through services designed to strengthen individuals, families, and organizations.
