Nokomis Child Care Center plays a unique role in the Fargo–Moorhead community. While providing traditional child care in a nurturing, safe, stimulating environment for families able to pay for the care, the program also fills a need for families with special needs, both financial and emotional. Nokomis provides a place for all children to thrive and grow, regardless of their needs. Nokomis has two child care centers in Fargo:
618 23rd St. S., Fargo, 701-232-5635
1620 16th Ave. S., Fargo, 701-232-0426
Nokomis Child Care Centers are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). NAEYC accreditation represents the mark of quality in early childhood education. To achieve NAEYC accreditation, early childhood education programs volunteer to be measured against the most robust and rigorous national standards on education, health and safety.
