FARGO – Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of The Village Family Service Center has received a $5,000 grant from the Fargo Kiwanis for program support.
Funds will be used to initiate and monitor valuable, one-to-one mentoring matches for youth in the Fargo-Moorhead community who are in need of additional adult support. Last year, BBBS defended the potential of 145 youth in its community-based and school-based programs combined.
Big Brothers Big Sisters and The Village are thankful to Fargo Kiwanis for their support.
By spending four hours a month with their Little, volunteer Big Brothers and Big Sisters clear the path for a child’s biggest possible future. For more information about Big Brothers Big Sisters, call 701-451-4877 or visit BBBSFargo.org.
