ALEXANDRIA – The Forada Lions Club donated $1,000 to The Village Family Service Center in Alexandria. The Village provides a variety of behavioral health services to individuals, children and families throughout Douglas and Pope counties.
“We are so thankful to the Forada Lions Club for this grant,” said Erica Overshiner, Regional Program Supervisor for The Village’s Alexandria office. “Support from the community allows us to continue to provide needed mental health services in Alexandria and beyond.”
The Village’s mission is to strengthen those it serves through regional community behavioral health services. Its programs and services include counseling, in-home family therapy, financial counseling, employee assistance programs and business training.
