FARGO – Professionals with The Village Employee Assistance Program will share advice for adjusting to a “new normal” and effectively communicating during stressful times during two upcoming webinars. The trainings will be held over the noon hour on the GoToTraining platform.
On Wednesday, July 8, EAP Trainer Nancy Boyle will lead “Back to Work: Tips for the New Norm.” She will share some tips to successfully transition into everyday life as businesses and communities re-open after coronavirus-related closures.
EAP Trainer Robert Jones and Clinical Supervisor Darren Carter, MS, M.Ed., LPCC, NCC, will present “Effectively Communicating in Stressful Times” on Wednesday, July 22. The training will consider barriers in communication and how to become more effective communicators by establishing boundaries and listening.
Both trainings are part of The Business Bite, a series of lunchtime talks on topics that matter, hosted by The Village Business Institute. Each session is limited to 50 participants. Links to register can be found at www.TheVillageFamily.org/events.
