I use a holistic approach to help individuals uncover and develop the skills necessary to work through life’s many challenges. It is inspiring to witness clients gain insight into their lives, and it is incredibly rewarding to participate in the journey of people becoming happier, healthier versions of themselves. I obtained my master’s in mental health counseling, with a specialization in crisis and trauma response, through Walden University in 2014. I serve as the Bismarck Regional Program Supervisor.
As an outpatient counselor, I work with individuals, couples, adolescents, and adults. I am passionate about helping people who are working to overcome various mental health issues, those who have experienced traumatic events in their lives, those with dual diagnosis conditions (mental health and substance abuse), and those who have been incarcerated or involved in the legal system. I have experience working with individuals with developmental and learning disabilities, including those on the Autism spectrum, as well as a wide range of mental health diagnoses. One therapy method I utilize is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
