Adoption information meetings planned in Fargo, Bismarck

Free informational meetings for those interested in adoption will be held at The Village Family Service Center offices in Fargo and Bismarck in September.

The first session will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 2701 12th Ave. S., FargoBismarck-area individuals are invited to attend a session at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 2207 East Main Ave., Bismarck.

These events, hosted by The Village Family Service Center and Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota, will cover types of adoption opportunities, timeframes and children available for adoption. A question-and-answer session will conclude the meetings. The Village and LSSND collaborate to provide pregnancy counseling and adoption services throughout the state. Other Village programs and services include mental health counseling, in-home family therapy, financial counseling, employee assistance programs, business trainings and more.
