Play It Forward features Hoge, LPGA's Amy Olson, Hollywood star Josh Duhamel, and 3-time Stanley Cup Champion Matt Cullen. The match, which was played at the Fargo Country Club, will be broadcast on WDAY and InForum at 6 pm Sunday, May 31.
Donations made to charities operating at the frontlines during the COVID-19 pandemic, including The Village, will be matched up to $100,000. This is thanks to Bell, WDAY, InForum, Dakota Medical Foundation, and match sponsors Eide Bailly and Happy Harry's.
"There is an increasing need for mental health services, health services and mentoring/education opportunities in North Dakota and Minnesota," Hoge said. "I am supporting The Village Family Service Center so that they can continue to provide care and counseling sessions to kids and families in need."
