Strengthening Alexandria's Community: Grant Supports Uninsured and Underinsured Services

ALEXANDRIA – The United Way of Douglas & Pope Counties has awarded The Village Family Service Center's Alexandria office a generous grant to support their mission of strengthening families and communities. With this funding, The Village will provide vital behavioral health services, including mental health counseling and in-home family therapy, to uninsured and underinsured individuals in Alexandria and the surrounding communities.

The grant will ensure that those who lack adequate insurance coverage or financial resources can access the support they need for their mental well-being. The Village Family Service Center is grateful for this collaboration, which will contribute to healthier individuals and stronger communities in the area.
