Callie Berg
Hi! My name is Callie, and I'm an Employee Assistance Program Counselor in Fargo, ND. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from North Dakota State University in 2023 and recently completed my Master of Science in Education with a focus on Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northern State University. I have experience working with adolescents and adults, and I'm passionate about building strong therapeutic relationships with individuals of all ages. I work with a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and self-esteem. As a counselor at The Village Family Service Center, my goal is to create a welcoming space where clients feel heard, supported, and truly understood. I use a holistic approach, considering each person's overall well-being. I enjoy helping clients recognize and build on their strengths to create meaningful and positive change in their lives. When helpful, I also like to incorporate elements of play and art into sessions as a way for clients to express and process their emotions creatively. Outside of sessions, I enjoy expressing myself through painting, drawing, and other creative activities. I also love spending time at the lake, cuddling with my dog, getting lost in a good book, playing video or board games, and I am an avid Disney fan.
