Laura Vorhies
Originally from Montana, I transplanted to Grand Forks as a military spouse and fell in love with the community I now call home. I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, graduating with high distinction after completing my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from American Military University. I am a member of Chi Sigma Iota, and my training includes an internship at The Village, where I serve as an outpatient and school-based therapist for clients of all ages. My years as a licensed funeral director shaped my commitment to grief work and a trauma-informed approach, grounded in strong relationships and evidence-based methods, including CBT. Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, running, and weightlifting.
