MS, LAPC
Outpatient Therapist; Intensive In-Home Family Therapist
Bismarck
Both (In-Person & Online)

I work as an Outpatient and In-Home Family Therapist based in the Bismarck office. I have discovered a profound passion for assisting individuals with disabilities and those who have faced various forms of trauma. My counseling approach revolves around meeting individuals where they are and collaborating with them to achieve their personal objectives. I base my therapeutic methodology on well-established models of evidence-based practices, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), trauma-informed prevention/intervention, and person-centered therapy.

In addition to my core therapeutic approaches, I find value in using Polyvagal Theory, which offers valuable insights into understanding the body's responses to stress and trauma. My expertise extends to working with development and intellectual disabilities, a realm where I have honed specialized skills. I am particularly adept at employing sensory-focused interventions to enhance patients' experiences.

I have earned my Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies, which encompasses studies in Human Resources, Family and Child Development, Special Education, and Military Science. I furthered my education by attaining a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling from West Virginia University.
