ALEXANDRIA – The Village Family Service Center in Alexandria has been awarded a $10,000 grant from the Ruth McDonald Fund of the Alexandria Area Community Foundation. The funds will be used by the agency to present two, eight-week sessions of Girls 360º Group.
The group helps teen girls by educating them on a full spectrum (360 degrees) of topics relevant to their lives. Girls 360º Group is designed to empower girls dealing with low self-confidence and low self-esteem.
The Village Family Service Center in Alexandria has a wide variety of service offerings including family, individual, and group counseling for children, teens, adults, and couples. The agency also provides school-based services in select area schools. For more information, call 320-762-8851.
