Allison Flink
I have taken a particular interest in working with young children, adolescents, and their families. It is rewarding to see individuals grow, heal, and learn from various challenges in their life. I utilize expressive therapies including play, art, and sand tray when working with young children. I am experienced in working with youth in foster care and their natural families in addition to families that have endured domestic violence and abuse. I am trained in Permanency and Adoption Competency through Center for Adoption Support and Education as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I enjoy providing support and education to parents and guardians on various ways to help support their child during difficult times.
