The planned office building will house The Village’s Children’s Mental Health Services, now located 1401 8th St. S., Moorhead. The new site, just north of the Azool Center, doubles the available space for therapy sessions and provides convenient access and parking for families. The nonprofit plans to relocate its Moorhead office this fall.

“The Village is excited about the opportunity to increase our behavioral health services with the new Moorhead space,” said President and CEO Jeff Pederson. “This expansion has been a long-range goal of ours, and we will be better able to meet the needs of our community in this location.”President and CEO Jeff Pederson with Board of Directors Chair Person Steve Connelly

The portion of the building to be leased by The Village will include 16 therapist offices and two play therapy rooms with observation windows. An additional 2,000 square feet to be leased out could be used for expansion by The Village in the future. The Moorhead City Council recently approved a tax incentive for the project.

The Village is also opening a new Fargo location on May 20 for its Counseling, Intensive Outpatient and First Step Recovery programs. The address is 2701 12th Ave. S., Fargo.
