FARGO – Big Brothers Big Sisters of The Village Family Service Center recently received a $30,000 grant from the Robert E. Herman Charitable Trust.
Grant funds will enable staff to provide direct services to area youth and the adult volunteers who mentor them. Specific tasks to be performed with grant funds include recruitment of BBBS volunteers, enrollment of mentors and youth, background checks, mentor training, mentor-youth matching, ongoing match support, and match closure.
Big Brothers Big Sisters defends the potential of kids in the Fargo-Moorhead community.
