Several organizations and foundations have contributed recently to support specific Village programs or regions. These grant awards include the following:
- The Community Foundation of Grand Forks, East Grand Forks and Region has awarded The Village Family Service Center in Grand Forks a $3,000 grant to help provide behavioral health services to clients who are uninsured or underinsured. Funding will subsidize the reduced fee scale available for in-office, outpatient counseling for those clients who qualify. The project supports the Foundation’s goal of helping to provide human services to all.
- Verendrye Electric Trust’s Operation Round Up awarded The Village's Minot office $1,974 to purchase office chairs and cabinets.
- US Bank awarded The Village Financial Resource Center a $7,500 grant to assist clients who are unable to pay their fees.
- Fargo Kiwanis Club granted $2,500 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of The Village Family Service Center. Fargo Kiwanis supports charitable and character-building activities for youth in our community.
Grant dollars keep The Village's behavioral health services accessible. The Village is grateful for the support.
