Danielle Klapper
My approach to therapy emphasizes the mutual development of goals and creating a space for a client to explore and heal in. I completed my master's degree in Creative Arts Therapy at Nazareth College in Rochester, New York. Over the past 5 years I have gained clinical experience across a variety of settings including residential placement for adolescents, outpatient community clinics, and crisis intervention. I am invested in collaborating with my client to create an integrative, dynamic, and holistic approach to mental health. I am particularly concerned with the impact of loss and trauma and improving interventions to support trauma recovery for better emotional, physical, and relationship health through a variety of modalities including but not limited to Art Therapy, DBT, CBT, and Progressive Counting.
