Nicole Sayre
I began my journey at The Village's Alexandria office as an intern in 2010. I earned a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Cloud State University in 2011 and have been a Minnesota Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2014. Over the past decade I have enjoyed the opportunity to work with a multitude of clients from all stages of life, each facing their own unique challenges, experiences, and mental health concerns. I am trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) with additional certification as a Level 1 Trainer “within program trainer” through PCIT international. I have experience and training in working with clients who have been impacted by depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, disruptions in attachment, and other work, home, family, or social related stressors across various stages of development. I have also completed additional trainings specific to working with children and families coping with divorce, including reunification therapy. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband and our four lovely daughters. Anyone who has ever walked into our house will agree that it's loud, loving, and busy, but if you catch us on the wrong day you may choose to run out as fast as you walked in.
