Destigmatizing Counseling (WEBINAR)

Event Date:
Wednesday, July 14, 2021
Noon to 1 P.M.
Online via Zoom

Our mental health is key to our wellbeing because it can play a role in how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices. Sometimes, when people are struggling, they are reluctant to see a counselor for a variety of reasons that can limit a person’s success.

This Business Bite webinar is going straight to the source to address the stigmas related to counseling. In an interview between Robert Jones and Village Employee Assistance Program Clinical Supervisor Bradi Holy, we will:

  • Discuss the stigma behind counseling
  • Dispel the stigma
  • Explain what counseling might look like for a first-time client

This session will start at noon Central on Wednesday, July 14, and will include time for questions and answers. This webinar is part of The Business Bite, a series of lunchtime talks on topics that matter. The session is free and spaces are limited. Register via Eventbrite
