Lorea Watson
My goal is to empower others and utilize an integrative approach, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to explore thoughts/feelings/behavior and strength-based therapy to encourage people to adopt a positive mindset, focusing on internal strengths rather than weaknesses or failures. Previous experiences in my life have influenced my career path, and that often gives me the ability to connect easily with others. I have an undergraduate degree in addiction studies from Minot State University and a master’s degree in counseling from the University of North Dakota. I have received training in Brainspotting, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), EFT (emotional freedom technique), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
