As a counselor for the Intensive Outpatient Program at The Village, my role is to provide counseling services to adults through weekly individual and group therapy. I am passionate about supporting a client’s journey towards improvement of mental well-being through encouraging the use of skills and self-reflection in daily life. My counseling approach includes a mix of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. I earned my Master of Education degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Dakota State University, and I have relevant experience working with children, adolescents, college students, veterans, inpatient settings, and homeless populations.
