As a counselor, I value a relational-cultural approach, honoring the unique identities and dignity of my clients. I utilize creative interventions, expressive arts and multiple modalities to work with clients across the lifespan. I strive to remain creative and curious, with special emphasis on bonding and attachment. I have experience in crisis, family, couple, child and individual counseling. My areas of specialty include sex trafficking, trauma, sexual abuse, as well as career/personality exploration. I enjoy public speaking and have experience presenting on mental health and sex trafficking topics in local, national, and international settings.
I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor in the state of North Dakota, and I'm currently a doctoral candidate in Counselor Education and Supervision at North Dakota State University with a dissertation focus on sex trafficking. I obtained my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Mary and also attended NDSU for my Bachelor of Science degree in English and Philosophy. My hobbies include creative arts, cooking, baking, and gardening.
