Heather Siek
I work from a strength-based approach to instill hope in my clients and empower them to reach their goals. I have my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology. I am trained in the evidence-based models of Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I also do co-parenting therapy; I believe a strong co-parenting relationship is key to children’s mental health. In addition to my work at The Village's Moorhead location, I am an adjunct professor in the Minnesota State University Moorhead Psychology Department. I love working as an outpatient therapist, and am passionate about helping others. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, traveling, and doing anything outdoors.
